How lucky was I to spend an afternoon checking out KOKOON Fashion?!
I hadn’t even heard of KOKOON until Chrysa asked me to fill in while she was at BlogHer. I’m so glad she thought of me. I was treated to a great fashion show including items from the fall collection, as well as a fashion retrospective of the past 25 years!
The fall collection draws a lot of inspiration from jewel tones of Pantone’s fall colors. I also saw the decades of the mod 60’s, the easygoing 70’s, and the roaring ’20’s. There were lots of fun separates and gorgeous dresses. I was so impressed with how easy to wear the collection looked. It actually made me look forward to fall! Time to bring out the tall boots! Everything that Laine designs is really flattering to the body. It’s also created with materials that are easy to clean.
Laine Sou started selling her clothing 25 years ago. Her husband would take the clothing she made and bring it to boutiques. They haven’t looked back since! There have been highs and lows, but Laine always kept making great clothing. It’s all made here in Minnesota!
I lurved all of the looks, but here are some of my favorites. This is the first time I have heard of Kokoon, I love the fashions. My favs are the poncho and the first dress but I would be happy to wear any of these great outfits!

Looks like you had a fabulous time! I love seeing outfits in motion as opposed to simply hanging on hangers. It makes me have an idea of how it would look on me should I purchase it. Love that dress as well!
